     ClimateLive is a game-­‐changing live global cultural event on September 21st, 2014 in the Barclays Center to kick off the United Nations Climate Summit of World Leaders. The historic event will combine musical performances, global leaders and celebrity testimonials with one goal in mind – to establish climate change as the de@ining issue of our generation. The UN Climate Summit will bring together Presidents, Prime Ministers and leaders from the private sector to catalyze ambitious action to reduce emissions and strengthen resilience while mobilizing political will for an ambitious global climate agreement by 2015.

MORGAN FREEMAN and MARK RUFFALO will be hosting the evening in Barclays Center. PRINCE, NATASHA BEDINGFIELD, MERLE HAGGARD, PUSSY RIOT, and some of the biggest names in music will be performing live. United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-­moon, Richard Branson, His Holiness the Dali Lama, His Holiness the Gyalwang Drukpa, Bishop Desmond Tutu and other world leaders will be present to kick-­‐off activities leading up to the Climate Summit.

ClimateLive will focus attention on the top level goals of the United Nations Global Climate Summit:
1) To catalyse ambitious action on the ground to reduce emissions and strengthenresilience!
2) To mobilize political will for an ambitious global legal climate agreement by 2015that limits the world to a less than 2-­degree Celsius rise in global temperature
